  • ASCLS's unique multilevel organizational structure provides opportunities to interact and consult with leaders, colleagues, and potential employers at local, state, regional and national levels.
  • ASCLS / ASCLS-MS provides professional growth opportunities for those who seek to develop leadership, consultative, and/or other requisite skills for jobs, promotions, research, professional advancement, and career growth and development.
  • ASCLS's national publications (Clinical Laboratory Science, a peer reviewed journal, and ASCLS Today, a bimonthly newsletter) and ASCLS-Mississippi’s state newsletter (Microscopic Reports) provide publishing opportunities, keep members scientifically current and inform members about job openings and career opportunities nationwide.
  • ASCLS's Leadership Directory provides nationwide contact information for Officers, Board Members, Committee Chairs/Members, and ASCLS's Representatives to Other Organizations and is available through the ASCLS website to all members. The Leadership Directory is a valuable resource for exploring, locating, and learning about new job opportunities that might require relocation to unfamiliar geographical areas.
  • ASCLS's Online Career Center and Employment Board provides members with career tips/information and available nationwide job postings.
  • ASCLS / ASCLS-MS provide scholarship funds to students completing their undergraduate studies in clinical laboratory science as well as to graduate students pursuing advanced degrees.
  • ASCLS provides funds for Clinical Laboratory Science related research through its separately incorporated and non-profit Education and Research Fund.
