promotions, research, professional advancement, and career growth
and development.

ASCLS's national publications
(Clinical Laboratory Science, a peer reviewed journal, and
ASCLS Today, a bimonthly newsletter) and ASCLS-Mississippi’s
state newsletter (Microscopic Reports) provide publishing
opportunities, keep members scientifically current and inform
members about job openings and career opportunities nationwide.

ASCLS's Leadership Directory
provides nationwide contact information for Officers, Board Members,
Committee Chairs/Members, and ASCLS's Representatives to Other
Organizations and is available through the ASCLS website to all
members. The Leadership Directory is a valuable resource for
exploring, locating, and learning about new job opportunities that
might require relocation to unfamiliar geographical areas.

ASCLS's Online Career Center
and Employment Board provides members with career tips/information
and available nationwide job postings.

ASCLS / ASCLS-MS provide
scholarship funds to students completing their undergraduate studies
in clinical laboratory science as well as to graduate students
pursuing advanced degrees.
- ASCLS
provides funds for Clinical Laboratory Science related research
through its separately incorporated and non-profit Education and
Research Fund.
